Bulldogs go 1-2 on the weekend

The Bulldogs headed on a three game road trip this past weekend where they only manged to earn one win.

In the first game on the weekend the Bulldogs couldn’t mange to beat the Spruce Kings as the Kings would come out on top 4-1. Tyler Vanuden scored the lone Bulldogs goal while the Kings added an empty netter at 19:25 to take the game.

On Saturday the Bulldogs were in Chilliwack where the score would be the same as the night before 4-1, but this time in favor of the Bulldogs.

The Chiefs would score the first goal of the game but would be shutout the remainder while the Bulldogs score four unanswered goals, first by Brandon Bergado, followed by Mitchell Oliver, Bradley Ong and former Chiefs forward Cole Poliziani.

During the first forty minutes of Sunday afternoons game against the Surrey Eagles it was an even game until the third period where the Eagles came out hot winning the game 7-3.

Paul Selleck added two goals while Isaac Tonkin-Palmer added one.

The Bulldogs return home this week for the final two games before the Christmas Break. First the Bulldogs host the Victoria Grizzlies on Wednesday. During that game a fan will have a chance to shoot to win for $500 courtesy of Coastal Community Credit Union.

On Saturday in their final game before the break they play the Cowichan Valley Capitals during the annual Pack Your Bags Contest, courtesy of Pacific Coastal, Boston Pizza and The Old House Village & Spa.
