The Alberni Valley Bulldogs announce today that the annual Bulldogs’ game used jersey auction is currently underway. The jerseys currently available in the auction are the team’s 2011/12 back game-work jerseys.
Each season, the Alberni Valley Bulldogs provide the public with opportunities to bid on the actual game worn jerseys that the players wear in regular season BCHL games.
“This is a great way for members of the community, the general public, and hockey fans at large to get a piece of the game,” said Alberni Valley Bulldogs Director of Marketing Laurie Smillie. “It allows Bulldogs fans and jersey collectors to get a chance to buy their favorite player’s jersey and, at the same time, help support the team.”
The online auction is currently underway on the team’s website at www.albernivalleybulldogs.ca. Bidding ends at 5:00pm PST on Tuesday, April 17, 2012.
The players’ black 2011/12 jerseys that are available in the online auction are: #2 Marlon Sabo, #3 Daniel DelBianco, #6 Chase Van Allen, #8 Brandon Adams, #9 Ryan Lough (A), #10 Lars Hepso, #12 Tyler Berkholtz, #15 Evan Tironese (led all 1995-born players in scoring in the BCHL), #17 Justin Morello, #18 Hunter Stewart, #20 Tryg Strand, #21 Arty Kalasknikov, #22 Brandon Halls, #25 Turner Popoff, #27 Yan Kalashnikov, and #28 Nick Tupper.
