It was an energized crowd at the Alberni Valley Multiplex on Saturday evening with over 1,100 fans cheering for the Bulldogs in their annual Pink in the Rink Game against the Trail Smoke Eaters.

The Smoke Eaters would dominate majority of the game scoring five unanswered goals, four in the first period and one early into the second before the Bulldogs’ would get on the board by Jackson Doucet assisted by Keaton Mastrodonato and Ryan Steele.

The Smoke Eaters would end the second period with another goal giving them the 6-1 after forty minutes.

During the third period the Bulldogs would be the only team to get on the board at 2:50 on the powerplay by Paul Selleck assisted by Sami Pharaon and Grayson Valente but it wasn’t enough as the Trail Smoke Eaters would take the game 6-2.
