The Bulldogs will play two big  games this week at the Dawg Pound. Coming off back to back wins the team  will look to stay hot.

On Friday the Bulldogs who are (5-8) will take on the Victoria Grizzlies (4-7) for the first time this season. The Bulldogs currently sit two points ahead of the Grizzlies in the Island Division Standings.

“We’re looking forward to seeing Victoria for the first time. They’re a different team this season but still a good team looking to find their groove” said Bulldogs Head Coach and General Manager Joe Martin.

On Saturday night the Bulldogs will host the number one team in the Nation, the Penticton Vees.

“Penticton is having a great start to the season, I watched them last week at the showcase. They’re a good team all around and it will be exciting for us to play them again. The Vees will be a measuring stick for us “ added Martin.

Both games this week start at 7:00 p.m. at the Weyerhaeuser Arena.

The Bulldogs are undefeated (4-0) so far at home this season and will need the support from the best fans in the BCHL to keep it that way.  You’re the 7th man Port Alberni so let’s get loud this weekend !
