The Alberni Valley Bulldogs are excited to announce that they have acquired 2006 born defenceman Hunter Friedrich from the Spruce Grove Saints in exchange for Future Considerations
Bulldogs Head Coach and General Manager Joe Martin commented: Hunter is an aggressive D who skates well and comes with good junior experience to date.
The 19 year old Chanhassen, Minnesota native comes to Hockey Valley after 8 games in Spruce Grove. Friedrich spent the majority of the last three seasons with the Chippewa Steel in the NAHL where the 5’11”, 179-pound defender suited up for 71 games.
The Bulldogs are back in action New Years Day in Victoria and will be at home in the Dawg Pound Saturday night, taking on the Surrey Eagles.
