The Alberni Valley Bulldogs announced on Monday that they have acquired 2002 born forward Ryan Tverberg from the Toronto Jr. Canadiens in exchange for the CJHL playing rights to Keaton Mastrodonato and Future Considerations.
Tverberg is committed to the Harvard Men’s hockey program for the 2021-2022 season and was a 2020 7th round draft pick of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Last season Tverberg posted 26 goals and added 25 assists for 51 points in 47 games played with the Jr. Canadiens.
Bulldogs head coach and general manager was excited for the chance to add Ryan to the roster for this season. “We’re adding a smart, hard working, great skating forward that will fit in well with our group. He’s had some great experiences already as a player with the Jr. Canadiens. We think Ryan’s best hockey has yet to come.”
Tverberg and the Bulldogs return to the Multiplex ice tomorrow night as they play host to the Victoria Grizzlies at 7:00 pm.
