The Alberni Valley Bulldogs are pleased to announce the addition of a pair of forwards in advance of their 3 game Interior Conference road swing beginning tomorrow night in Prince George.

The Bulldogs have added 04 born forward Dakota MacIntosh in a deal with the USHL’s Fargo Force.  In 8 games with Fargo, MacIntosh, a native of Winnipeg Manitoba, had 2 goals and 1 assist for 3 points.  Last season with the NAHL’s Fairbanks Ice Dogs, MacIntosh had 14 goals and 12 assists for 26 points in 36 games. At 6’2″ and 205 pounds, the 18 year old forward adds some size up front for the Bulldogs.

In a separate move, the Bulldogs acquired 02-born forward David Sacco from the Tri-City Storm of the USHL. Sacco is committed to play NCAA Division 1 hockey with Merrimack, along side Bulldogs forward Ethan Bono. In 3 games with Tai-City, Sacco had 1 goal and 1 assist.  In 2019-2020, Sacco finished 2nd in scoring for Lawrence Academy in the USHS Prep circuit.  Sacco had 17 goals and 23 assists for 40 points in just 26 games played.  Sacco also caught the attention of the NHL Central Scouting as he was ranked 141 for the 2020 NHL Draft.

MacIntosh will wear number 14, while Sacco will wear number 16 with the Bulldogs.  Both players will make the Bulldogs debut tomorrow in Prince George.

Sacco and MacIntosh will get their first test of the Dawg Pound on November 25th with the Bulldogs welcome the top team in the BCHL, the currently undefeated Penticton Vees to town for a 7:00 pm showdown.  Adults can save $2.00 on walk up pricing by CLICKING HERE and buying in advance.
