The BCHL has announced the details for the 2026 Showcase event scheduled for October 11th – 14th, at the Silent Ice Centre in Nisku, Alberta.
Each BCHL team will play two games in front of NHL scouts and NCAA coaches.
Alberni Valley will play Spruce Grove on Monday October 12th at 7pm Mountain time, followed by a 1pm matinee the following day on Tuesday October 13th against Vernon.
The Alberta trek begins in Brooks against the defending Champions on Friday October the 9th, and then in Blackfalds on Saturday the 10th, playing a total of 4 games in 5 days.
The annual Showcase is the first of many steps for the athletes on their journey to receiving a NCAA Division 1 scholarship.
It serves as a vital platform for players to secure professional attention, acting as a crucial stepping stone in their hockey careers.
