The Bulldogs are excited to announce the addition of 2006 born Defenceman Matty MacDonald, effective immediately.
The 6’2 180 pound Defenceman is from Walpole, Massachusetts and played this season with the U18 AAA Cape Cod Whalers, as well as with Thayer Academy in the US High School Prep League.
With the Whalers, he scored 5 times and added 11 assists for 16 points in 23 games played. With Thayer Academy, he played 28 games, scoring 4 times while adding 13 assists.
On the addition of MacDonald, Bulldogs Head Coach and GM Joe Martin commented: “We have been down a couple Defenceman as of late, so we’re happy Matty has been able to get here in such short notice. He’s going to get thrown right in tonight. Next week we get a chance to work with him, but tonight should be exciting for him”
MacDonald will wear #3 and will make his debut against the Surrey Eagles
