The Bulldogs are excited to announce the addition of 2005 born Forward Brendan Ruskowski and 2006 born Defenceman Connor Frost.
The 6’1 , 185 pound Ruskowski is from Langley, and has 56 games of BCHL experience in the regular season and playoffs with the Chilliwack Chiefs, where he scored six times and added fourteen assists for twenty points. In 24 games played this season with the North American Hockey League’s Bismark Bobcats, he scored eight times and added eight assists for sixteen points.
On the addition of Ruskowski, Bulldogs Head Coach and GM Joe Martin commented: “We’re excited to add a player with BCHL experience. He’s a great team guy who has a strong desire to work everyday for the betterment of the team”
The 6’0, 170 pound Frost is from De Winton, Alberta and was most recently with the La Ronge Ice Wolves in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. In 19 games played, he scored four times and added seven assists for eleven points. Last season with the Sherwood Park Crusaders in the BCHL, he scored three times and added eight assists for eleven points in 33 games played in the regular season and playoffs.
Bulldogs Head Coach and GM Joe Martin commented: “Connor has grown as a player over last season where he had experience in the BCHL with Sherwood Park. He’s a player who a few teams were after, and I’m excited he chose us”
In a corresponding move, the Bulldogs sent 2005 born Defenceman Alexander Ståhl to the Coquitlam Express in exchange for Future Considerations. In 30 games played, he scored once and added three assists.
The Bulldogs would like to thank Alexander for his time in Hockey Valley, and wish him good luck in the future.
