Bulldogs Commits to Mateo Sjoberg for Next Season

The Alberni Valley Bulldogs have committed to 04 Forward Mateo Sjoberg for the 2022-2023 BCHL Season.

Sjoberg, a native of Surrey, BC made his BCHL Debut with the Bulldogs on January 11th, 2022 in Duncan as the Bulldogs defeated the Cowichan Valley Capitals 4-1.

Sjoberg spent the 2021-2022 season with the VIJHL’s Kerry Park Islanders where he notched 33 points (11g 22a) in 48 games.  It was during the Islanders playoff run where Sjoberg took a big step as he posted 8 goals and 8 assists for 16 points in the Islanders 10 post season games.

I’m looking forward to next season in Alberni with a great group of guys and of course the amazing fans. I can’t wait get started.” said Sjoberg.

Next up for the Bulldogs will be the Abbotsford ID Camp in early June.
