Bulldogs host Capitals tonight

It’s the fifth head-to-head meeting of the season already between these two Island rivals, as the Bulldogs (15-6-1-0) host the Cowichan Valley Capitals (11-9-2-0) tonight at the Dawg Pound. 

The Bulldogs enter play tonight on a two-game winning streak, after wins of 4-1 and 8-1 in Powell River over the Kings on Friday and Saturday night. 

The Capitals also enter play winning their last two games, both on home ice –  6-4 over the Coquitlam Express on Friday, and 5-4 over the West Kelowna Warriors on Saturday night. 

 

The season series is even at two wins a piece, with the Capitals winning the first two by scores of 4-1 and 5-2 on October 4th and 19th in Duncan. The Bulldogs have won the last two, 4-2 and 4-1 on November 1st and 2nd in Duncan, and at the Dawg Pound, respectively.

 

Game time is 7:00

Local Youth 18 and under receive free admission when accompanied by an Adult, thanks to the Tseshaht First Nation.
