Bulldogs host Capitals tonight for final home game of 2024

It’s the final home game before the Christmas break for the Bulldogs (17-8-1-0) tonight, as they host the Cowichan Valley Capitals (16-9-3-0) tonight at the Dawg Pound

The Bulldogs were in Nanaimo last night, where they snapped a two game losing streak, and won a fifth straight road game, 5-3 over the Clippers.

The Capitals were in Victoria, where they ran their win streak to five, and their point streak to nine, with a 4-3 overtime win over the Grizzlies.

The Bulldogs lead the season series 3-2, with the Capitals winning the first two by scores of 4-1 and 5-2 on October 4th and 19th in Duncan. The Bulldogs have won the last three, 4-2 and 4-1 on November 1st and 2nd in Duncan, and at the Dawg Pound, respectively, and the most recent meeting 4-3 in overtime at the Multiplex on November 29th.

While this is the last home game of 2024 for the Bulldogs, they still have two games on the road next weekend before they head into their Christmas break, as they visit the Surrey Eagles Friday and the Coquitlam Express Saturday .
