It’s the first road game of the 2024-2025 season as the Bulldogs (2-0-0-0) head down Island to visit a Coastal West rival in the Grizzlies (2-0-0-0) at the Q Centre.
The Bulldogs won their first two games of the season in overtime by 4-3 and 3-2 scores Friday and Saturday at the Dawg Pound over Nanaimo and Salmon Arm respectively.
The Grizzlies also won their opening two games in high scoring affairs over the Kings in Powell River, by scores of 6-5 and 5-4 in overtime on Friday and Saturday night.
Tonight’s game is the first in the seven game season series between the teams. The next meeting is October 5th in Port Alberni.
