Columbia Ice Weekend Report:
The Alberni Valley Bulldogs played a hardfought forty minutes of play on Friday evening at the Dog Pound, however gave up four unanswered goals in the third to drop the game 7-2 against the Victoria Grizzlies.
Mackenzie Wight would get the only goal in the first period at 19:19 assisted by Stephen Castagna and Ryan Moon.
In the second the Bulldogs would get another goal just 20 seconds in by Dawson Tritt assisted by Grayson Valente, however that would be it.
The Grizzlies would go on to score seven unanswered goals.
Three in the second period, Cameron Thompson on the powerplay, Alex Newhook and Ryan Nolan.
Newhook would add two more goals in the third for his hat trick, while Thompson would add another for his second of the night and Marty Westhaver would add one.
