Bring warmth to those in need this winter. Donate your gently used children?s outerwear to the Community Coat Share project.
If you have coats that your children have outgrown and your family no longer needs, donate them to Community Coat Share and we?ll have them cleaned and distributed to people in the valley that need them.
Donations can be dropped off at any elementary school in Port Alberni, the offices of 93.3 the Peak or at the Alberni Valley Bulldogs game on Saturday November 15th. Anyone who donates to Community Coat Share will have their name entered into a draw for an Alberni Valley Prize package that includes an autographed jersey and game tickets.
Anyone who is need of outwear this winter should contact Cathy Cross at the Alberni Valley Community School (723 5603) or watch for distribution of coats in late November.
