The Alberni Valley Bulldogs are excited to announce that Diego Buttazzoni has been selected to the BC Hockey Program of Excellence’s U16 Team BC roster.
The 15 year-old Buttazzoni appeared in a pair of Bulldogs pre-season games this fall and didn’t disappoint as he collected 2 goals and an assist in his two games alongside his older brother Mirko who led all Bulldogs in pre-season scoring with 8 points.
Diego will play this season with the Burnaby Winter Club’s U18 midget squad.
Buttazzoni and Team BC will travel to Red Deer and take on Alberta, Saskatchewan & Manitoba during the annual event scheduled for October 20th – 24th.
