Eagles spoil Teddy Bear Toss Game.

The Bulldogs were able to score to send the Teddy Bears flying to the ice but couldn’t get past the Surrey Eagles as the Eagles took the game 6-2.

The Eagles managed to score five unanswered goals in a period and a half before the Bulldogs got on the board.

Connor Welsh would net one in to send the Teddy Bears flying to the ice at the 14:37 mark of the second period. The goal was assisted by Mitchell Oliver. Not long after Connor Welsh would score again, assisted by Mitchell Oliver and Ryan Steele to end the period.

During the third period the Eagles would add one more goal to take the game 6-2. John Hawthorne kicked away 45 of 51 shots in the game.

Connor Welsh was named third star while Ryan Steele was named the Fortis BC Energy Player of the Game.
