Grizzlies beat Bulldogs 3-2 in OT

In front of over 1,100 fans the Bulldogs played an extremely intense game but came up short 3-2 in overtime.

During the first twenty minutes both teams would get on the board in the first period, first by the Bulldogs by Keaton Mastrodonato followed shortly by Grizzlies’ Shawn O’Malley.

Isaac Tonkin-Palmer would score the lone goal in the second period to give the Bulldogs the 2-1 lead.

With less than three minutes to go in the third period the Grizzlies would sneak one past John Hawthorne and send the game to overtime.

Early into the first overtime Drayson Pears would score for the Grizzlies to give them the 3-2 win.

The Bulldogs are back in action tomorrow against the Nanaimo Clippers at the Multiplex.
