Grizzlies end Bulldogs Season in Game 7

Kurtis Chapman and his Victoria Grizzlies proved why they finished first in the Island Division after coming back from losing three straight to winning four straight and taking the series in Game 7.

The Grizzlies would open the scoring in the first period by Flin Withey assisted by Marty Westhaver and Jordan Guiney to take the early lead.

The next goal wasn’t scored until the 4:12 mark of the third period by Cameron Thompson from Ethan Nother to make it 2-0 Grizzlies.

Cole Noble would make it 3-0, prior to Julian Benner getting the lone Bulldogs goal assisted by Michael Sacco and Mitch Oliver but it wasn’t enough as the Grizzlies would win the game by a score of 3-1 and take the series.

Kurtis Chapman stopped 31 of 32 shots he faced and was named the games first star.
