The Alberni Valley Bulldogs are excited to announce the signing of 2006 born defenceman, Gustav Bryvall for the 2026-27 season.
“Gustav is a great skating defenceman who has professional experience in Sweden. We’re excited to get him here and playing with our group.” said Head Coach and GM, Joe Martin.
In 2021-22, the Stockholm, Sweden native won a Bronze medal at the U-16 National Championship, along with Gold at the TV-Pucken, a prestigious National tournament.
Last season the 5’10, 170lb reargaurd suited up for 16 contests with Västerås IK U-20, which competes in Sweden’s top junior league, the U-20 Nationell. Bryvall also played 4 games for Västerås in the HockeyAllsvenkan league, and 8 matches for Vasby IK in the HockeyEttan league.
