It’s the first game at the Dawg Pound of any consequence for the Bulldogs (1-0-0-0) since a triple overtime 4-3 win over the Surrey Eagles in the BCHL playoffs on April 9th 2024, as they host the Nanaimo Clippers (0-1-0-0) tonight.
Two nights later, the Bulldogs earned a 4-3 win in Surrey, and advanced to the next round of the post season, only to have the stunning scenario of not having a home become a reality as the Multiplex ice plant failed.
Considering those circumstances, it makes what is always a special night feel a bit more special.
These teams met last night at the Frank Crane Arena, where the Bulldogs topped the Clippers 5-2
Game time is 7:00, but pregame festivities begin with a Tail Gate party at 5:30pm, with Food Trucks and Entertainment.
Local Youth 18 and under receive free admission when accompanied by an Adult, thanks to the Tseshaht First Nation.
