PORT ALBERNI, B.C – The Bulldogs are proud to announce that Defenseman Jackson Munro has committed to Brown University for next season.
Munro currently leads all Defensemen on the Bulldogs with 13 points in 21 games so far this season.
Munro’s commitment is the second for the Bulldogs this season, and he becomes the 7th player to earn an NCAA Division 1 scholarship.
“I’m ecstatic for Jackson, an opportunity to play Division 1 Hockey and get an Ivy League education at Brown is something his whole family is thrilled about. I’m a proud coach, I met Jackson when he was a 16 year old rookie and have coached him for the past 4 seasons” said head coach and general manager Joe Martin.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Wednesday when they travel to Nanaimo to battle the Clippers.
