The Alberni Valley Bulldogs are proud to announce that 2005-born forward Kye Benoche has committed to Lakehead University.
Head Coach and GM Joe Martin shared his excitement: “Kye has earned this opportunity through his commitment and drive to improve every day. He’s eager to get to the rink, compete, and push himself — Coach Wilkins is going to love having him.”
Benoche becomes the second Bulldog to suit up for the Thunderwolves, joining alumnus Josh Van Unen, who is heading into his first season of professional hockey in France.
After finishing as the Bulldogs’ top scorer last season, Benoche left a major mark on our program and now takes the next step in his hockey journey.
