Penticton Crawls Back To Win

In day two for the Bulldogs at the Bauer BCHL Showcase it  started off well in the game against the Penticton Vees however it didn’t end well as the Vees would take the game 3-2.

The Bulldogs would jump to a good start in the first period scoring the only two goals in that period first at 7:47 by Jackson Doucet, assisted by Keaton Mastrodonato and Connor Welsh followed by the second goal with nine seconds to go in the first period by Michael Sacco, assisted by Christian Simeone and Darren Rizzolo.

It was both Doucet and Sacco’s first BCHL Career Goals.

Start of the second period the Vee’s changed goaltenders from Nolan Hildebrand to Adam Scheel and it appeared to work as Scheel kicked away 12 shots he faced while Lancaster allowed on goal at 2:43 by Ben Allen to head to the dressing room with a Bulldogs 2-1 lead.

The Vee’s would continue their scoring in the third period with two more unanswered goals first by Dakota Boutin followed by Ben Allen’s second of the night to give the Vee’s the 3-2 victory.

The Bulldogs next game is at home against the Nanaimo Clippers on Friday, September 29th. You can get your tickets online at https://tickets.albernivalleybulldogs.ca or at the Bulldogs office Tuesday and Thursday 1:00-5:00PM.
