Returning from Christmas break, Bulldogs Host Capitals

Dec 30, 2018

The Alberni Valley Bulldogs return from the Christmas break to face the Cowichan Valley Capitals tonight at 6:00 pm.

The Bulldogs and Capitals enter the game deadlocked at 25 points each in the Island Division standings.  The Bulldogs however do hold two games in hand.  The Capitals returned to action last night and suffered a 4-3 home ice loss to the Powell River Kings.  The Bulldogs meanwhile haven’t played a BCHL regular season game since a 4-2 loss to the Nanaimo Clippers on Teddy Bear Toss day back on Sunday December 16th.  The Bulldogs of course squared off with the Kazakhstan U-20 team in a World Jr. Championships pre-tournament game at a sold out Multiplex.

After tonight’s contest, the Bulldogs will quickly turn the page to host the Clippers once again, this time on a special New Years Eve matinee affair tomorrow afternoon at the Multiplex.

Tickets for todays game can be purchased this afternoon at the Multiplex, or online by clicking HERE.
