Rivermen Edge Bulldogs in OT

The Langley Rivermen edged the Alberni Valley Bulldogs 2-1 in OT on Saturday night at the Alberni Valley Multiplex.

The Rivermen opened the scoring in defensive affair early in the 2nd period as Keeton Oakley beat Hobie Hedquist for his 7th of the year.  The Bulldogs pulled even at 5:02 of the 3rd as they capitalized on a 5-on-3 man advantage. Ryan Nause wristed a shot past Ajeet Gundarah for his 2nd of the year with Josh Zary assisting.
