Tough Game, but Playoff Spot Clinched

In front of the largest crowd this season the Alberni Valley Bulldogs were up against the third place team in the BCHL the Wenatchee Wild and the Wild proved why they are third with a 5-1 win however the night ended well for the Bulldogs as the Victoria Grizzlies beat the Cowichan Valley Capitals which clinched a playoff spot for the Bulldogs.

Wilds’ Sam Morton would be all over the map during last night’s (Saturday, February 10th) game scoring four goals, first he tallied the lone marker in the first period followed by a goal in the second period and two in the third. The Wild would add one more in the empty net by Jasper Weatherby.

The Bulldogs Keaton Mastrodonato would add the only Bulldog goal on the powerplay assisted by Michael Sacco and John Hawthorne.
