The Alberni Valley Bulldogs are proud to announce a new community initiative for the up coming 2023-2024 season.
The Bulldogs have partnered with Van Isle Ford and Pacific Chevrolet to raise funds for the Ty Watson House.
Each time the Bulldogs score a goal this season, $20 will be donated to the Ty Watson House.
“I don’t feel like our players need much of an incentive to score goals, but this sure will help.” said Bulldogs president David Michaud. “When Will Pulford approached me about doing something meaningful in the community, donating to Ty Watson House felt like something important to our organization. After losing one of our long-time billet mom’s this past year and the families experience with Ty Watson House, it made all the more sense to do what we can to support this organization and the amazing work they do for our community.
“Teaming up with the Bulldogs was a natural fit we both feel the same about this incredible place we all call home.” said Will Pulford of Van Isle Ford and Pacific Chevrolet.
The donation to the Ty Watson will be made at the end of the Bulldogs 23-24 season.
The Bulldogs will have their first opportunity to fill the net for Ty Watson House on Friday when they open the 23-24 season in Coquitlam taking on the Express.
