The BCHL announced on Tuesday afternoon that Jax Wismer received the nod as the leagues 2nd Star of the Week.
In 3 games last week, Wismer posted 1 goal and 5 assists for 6 points.
The 18-year old defenceman has already surpassed his point total from all of last year during his rookie campaign when he finished with 14 points in 54 games. This season, Wismer already has 3 goals and 14 assists for 17 points in just 16 games played. Wismer is currently riding a 4-game point streak where he as accumulated 8 points over that time. His 17 points are good for 4th among BCHL defenceman, just 1 off the league lead of 18 points.
Wismer is committed to play NCAA hockey at UConn.
