Beaver Creek R/C and the Alberni Valley Bulldogs present the annual Teddy Bear Toss. On December 5th when the Bulldogs play the Powell River Kings fans will be encouraged to bring Teddy Bears to the game. When the Bulldogs score their first goal fans will throw their Teddy Bears onto the ice. Teddy Bears will also be on sale for $8.00 with all proceeds going to The Salvation Army Angel Tree.
All Teddy Bears thrown onto the ice will be donated and hand-delivered by Bulldogs players to Fir Park, Echo Village, Kuu-us Crisis Services and the Salvation Army.
Also on December 5th stop by Beaver Creek R/C for the Grand Opening. Beaver Creek R/C is located at 4663 Gertrude St.
