Trainer & Equipment Manager
Scott joined the Bulldogs in June 2017 after graduating from Camosun College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic and Exercise Therapy. Crema brings years of hands-on experience, having spent the 2015/16 and 2016/17 seasons with the Western Hockey League’s Victoria Royals and the 2014/15 campaign with the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League’s Victoria Cougars as a Student Athletic Therapist.

Jamie Amos
Assistant Equipment Manager
Jamie has been the heart and soul of junior hockey in the Alberni Valley for 20+ years. He began his career with the Junior B Bandits and became an essential member of the Bulldogs staff when they moved from Burnaby in 2002. Jamie’s incredible dedication to the team was recognized when he hit the 1000 game milestone with the Bulldogs on December 30th, 2018.
Nicole Ruel – Ruel Athletics
Strength & Conditioning Coach
Nicole was born and raised in Port Alberni. BC. She has spent some time away throughout the years but landed back home in Port Alberni in 2022. Nicole is an avid sports and fitness enthusiast and turned her passions into a career 30 yrs ago with the establishment of Ruel Athletics. Nicole specializes in movement performance and strength and conditioning. She has spent the last 5yrs in the United States studying and applying Pre-Hab and movement performance training practices to athletes.
She has her nursing diploma along with certifications through, NSCA, Barbell Rehab, Rehab-U, NASM, BCRPA, ACE, and ISSA. When Nicole is not in the gym or playing sports you will find her in nature with her family, friends, and her dog.
Jane Cruttenden – Port Alberni Physiotherapy
Team Physiotherapist
Jane is entering her 2nd season as the head physiotherapist for the Bulldogs. Jane graduated from Brunel University, London, England in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. Her love of traveling brought her to Port Alberni in 2007, where she fell in love with the community. She took over Port Alberni Physiotherapy Clinic in 2014 and has continued to make advancements in clinical practice to provide the best care for everyone in Port Alberni and the West Coast. Jane is a well rounded Physiotherapist with training in sports injuries, pilates, modern manual therapy, manipulations, Mckenzie, acupuncture and craniosacral therapy.
