Big Win for the Bulldogs against Clippers!

Hockey is back in Port Alberni! In front of over 1,100 fans at the Multiplex where they put a show on for the fans with a 5-4 win over the Nanaimo Clippers.

In the first period both teams would get on the board first by the Nanaimo Clippers by Brady Lynn, followed shortly after by Bulldogs’ Paul Selleck, which was his first goal of his BCHL Career.

The Bulldogs would take the lead in the second period, Connor Welsh and Keaton Mastrodonato both scored while Clippers got on the board only once.

The goal in the second was Keaton’s first goal in the BCHL.

Third period Bulldogs and Clippers would exchange goals, first Keaton Mastrodonato would score his second goal of the game, followed by a Clippers goal by Jamie Collins, then shortly after another Bulldogs goal by Cayden Kraus and Nanaimo would get on the board once more but couldn’t settle the deal as Bulldogs would take the game 5-4.

John Hawthorne stopped 43 of 47 shots he faced in the game and is still unbeaten in his BCHL Career.
