Bryant Perrier named Head Coach for Alberni Valley

Alan Kerr, General Manager of the Alberni Valley Bulldogs is pleased to announce the hiring of Bryant Perrier as Head Coach for the 2008-2009 season.  Bryant assumes the Head Coach position with an extensive hockey background. With over 350 wins in the BCHL, Bryant has a reputation as a winner and has brought that mentality to the Bulldogs organization. With 1 trip to the BCHL finals and 4 trips to the Interior Conference championships, Perrier knows what it takes to be successful at the Junior level.

Bryant brings a dedication and enthusiasm to a young Bulldogs team. With a reputation as a teacher, Bryant enjoys helping players improve on and off the ice.  The technical and fundamental components of the game have always been a priority for Perrier.

As a player, Bryant attended the University of Alaska/Fairbanks on a full NCAA Division 1 scholarship. Upon graduation, Bryant played professional hockey in the Los Angeles Kings organization as well as the East Coast Hockey League and the European Premier Hockey League.

?We have a good nucleus of returning players to build on for this upcoming season. The expectation is that the countless hours that myself and Alan have put in this season will pay off next year. We will rely on the base that we have built to improve our win loss record, which is what we are here to do.  On the human side of the game, we want to see our players achieve individual successes that help us as an organization.? Bryant Perrier, Head Coach Alberni Valley Bulldogs.
