The Alberni Valley Bulldogs continue to add to their roster, as they acquired forward Sam Mitchell from the Flin Flon Bombers of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League.
The Bombers acquired the 6?0?, 190 lbs Mitchell from the Salmon Arm Silverbacks earlier this week, before dealing him to the Bulldogs for future considerations.
In 57 games with the Silverbacks last season, Sam notched 12 goals and 14 assists while adding 33 minutes in penalties. In 10 games this season, Mitchell has 1 goal and 1 assist.
