The Bulldogs are pleased to announce the signing of forward Spencer Hunter (West Vancouver, BC). Hunter was released from the Victoria Grizzlies earlier this month.
After undergoing season ending surgery in 2015-16, Hunter was not resigned by the Grizzlies. He has appeared in 84 career BCHL games and made his Bulldogs debut on Saturday in a 4-2 win over the Powell River Kings where he registered an Assist on the empty net goal; his first game action in over a year.
To make room on the roster, the team has released forward Gary Dhaliwal. The Bulldogs would like to thank Gary for his efforts, while welcoming Spencer and his family to Port Alberni.
