Port Alberni, B.C. – The Alberni Valley Bulldogs in conjunction with the BCHL released its full 54-game schedule today for the 2021-22 regular season.
The BCHL regular season is set to start on Friday, October 8th as the Bulldogs take on the Victoria Grizzlies at the Q Centre in Victoria.
The Bulldogs home opener at the Alberni Valley Multiplex will take place a week later against the same Grizzlies on October 15th
“It’s always an exciting time to announce the schedule and begin filling out the calendar. It’s exciting to think of some of the rivalries we have and when we will get to reignite them.” said Bulldogs president David Michaud. “The Bulldogs and the entire BCHL are thrilled to celebrate the BCHL’s 60th Anniversary in style.”
“We are excited to turn the page and get back to competing for a Fred Page Cup in 2021-22,” said BCHL Deputy Commissioner Steven Cocker. “With our schedule now out, players as well as fans will have the opportunity to look ahead to key dates and get excited for our 60th Anniversary season.”
Key dates:
Sep. 17 – Opening of BCHL training camps
Oct. 20-24 – BCHL Showcase
Feb. 19-20 – BCHL Road Show
Mar. 25 – BCHL Playoffs begin
The league will provide further details on the Showcase and Road Show events at a later date, as well as more information regarding the league’s plans to celebrate its 60th Anniversary season.
