Alberni Valley Bulldogs defenceman Kurt Gosselin has been named the BCHL Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 23, the league announced Monday.
Gosselin racked up eight points from the blueline as the 'Dogs swept their way to a three-win road trip. He opened with a goal and 2nd Star in a 4-3 win in Prince George and followed that with a five-point night including four assists and 1st Star in a 6-2 win in Surrey. The Brighton, Mich. native concluded the trip with two assists and another 1st Star in a 4-1 win over Coquitlam.
The 6-foot, 202-pound defenceman moved up to 10th in BCHL scoring after his spree.
