The Alberni Valley Bulldogs (9-6-2) are facing off against the Victoria Grizzlies (11-7-0) for a second straight time in Victoria on Friday night.
Just this past Wednesday, the Bulldogs were able to come away with a 5-3 victory over the Grizzlies. Which was a big win for the Bulldogs who were struggling up until that point. Having lost three-straight games previously.
On top of that, it puts the Bulldogs closer to catching up with the Grizzlies in the standings. As they currently sit two points back of the Grizzlies along with the Nanaimo Clippers for second place in the Coastal Division.
And if the Grizzlies have anything planned for this rematch, it’s to make sure the Bulldogs don’t have as many scoring opportunities like they did in their previous meeting. As the Bulldogs outshot the Grizzlies 44-25 overall.
Whereas the Bulldogs will look to continue to dominate with the scoring chances and keep the game fast-paced to not let the Grizzlies have any room to breathe. Should be another exciting game between these two rivals.
