The Alberni Valley Bulldogs are proud to once again be joining forces with local sponsors and the Cancer Society to continue the FIGHT AGAINST BREAST CANCER.
On October 30th when the Bulldogs play the Cowichan Valley Capitals the Bulldog Players will be wearing Pink Jerseys and socks in support of Breast Cancer. The cost for sponsorship on a jersey is $500.00. The jersey will be put on display at the sponsor?s place of business for the month of October and a ballot box will be located next to the jersey. For a minimum donation of $2.00 people can come and enter for a chance to win one of the 21 jerseys. The draw will be made at the game, winners must be in attendance (only can win one jersey).
In addition, a professional team picture will be taken with the all sponsors; details will be listed on the website, in the program insert with names and addresses of each sponsor so everyone knows where all the jerseys are and the location of your businesses in order to enter the draw. All sponsors will be asked to come out on the ice after the game so we can do a photo with the winner and players on the ice. We will also have players visit sponsors place of business to promote and sell tickets for the jerseys.
After the game there will be a check presentation to the cancer society, money will be in the amount collected from all the ballot boxes, and any fundraising efforts that happened throughout the month.
