Port Alberni, B.C. – The Alberni Valley Bulldogs return to the ice on Friday night looking to stay red hot at the Dawg Pound.
The (7-8) Bulldogs have had lots of bite so far this season at home.
“It’s always nice to win at home and establish good game day habits. A huge credit has to go to our fans, they’re living up to they’re reputation” said Head Coach and General Manager Joe Martin.
The Bulldogs will look to go 7-0 at home and win their fifth in a row overall on Friday when the (6-4-1–1) Wenatchee Wild come to town.
“Wenatchee has always had great team speed and they make creative plays with the puck. We will be challenged for sure in all aspects of the game. It will be a tough game, the Wild will be prepared” added Martin.
Friday’s game will be the annual Pink in the Rink game. Fans are encouraged to wear pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Puck drop is set for 7 PM.
