On October 7th when the Alberni Valley Bulldogs take on the Trail Smoke Eaters at the Alberni Valley Multiplex will be Pink in the Rink for our Breast Cancer Awareness Night.
Along with the Bulldogs Players wearing Pink Stick Tape, Pink Laces and Bev Frolic, a long time season ticket holder and volunteer for the Port Alberni Canadian Cancer Society setting up a booth at the game, the Bulldogs Hockey Club will donate $1.00 from every walk-up ticket bought at the game.
“The Canadian Cancer Society is thrilled to be partnering with the Alberni Valley Bulldogs to increase awareness of breast cancer and to help support cancer research through this donation.” Bev Frolic commented “Big thanks to the Bulldogs’ organization for their willingness to lead the way by sharing the proceeds of this game! Together we can accomplish great things as we work to end this devastating disease.”
The Bulldogs will also have a Banner onsite encouraging fans and corporate partners to sign it letting those battling this devastating disease we support them!
