The Alberni Valley Bulldogs would like to announce that 92 D Connor Varley has commited to play for the Bulldogs for the 2010-11 season. Varley played for the Northwood school in Lake Placid where he registered 4 goals and 13 assists in 38 games.
?Connor is a great player that will add depth to our blueline. We expect him to come in and contribute at both ends of the rink, ?comments GM/Head Coach Paul Esdale.
The Northwood hockey program has produced the following NHLers and Olympians; Tom Mellor'68, Tony Granato '83, David Tretowicz '87, Jim Campbell '91, Chris Therien '90, Mike Richter '85, Andrea Kilbourne-hill '98, and Craig Conroy '90.
