The Alberni Valley Bulldogs are pleased to announce the return of 2007 born netminder Derik Brouillard.
After joining the club in January of 2026, the Lorraine, Quebec native posted an impressive 0.913 save percentage, along with a 2.76 goals against average in 14 games. Brouillard suited up for 5 post season contests as well.
“We are excited that Derik is back with us.” said Head Coach and GM Joe Martin.
“He jumped in with us later in the year and really took over that position. Derik was consistent and gave us a chance every night.”
The 6’2, 165 lb goaltender also spent the 2025-26 season dressing for the the BCHL Langley Rivermen and the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada of the QMJHL. Previously, Brouillard played for the Saint-Eustache Vikings of the Quebec U18AAA league.
