The Alberni Valley Bulldogs are pleased to announce that 1991 born forward, Jackson Garrett, has committed to play for the ?Dogs next season.
This season Jackson was named the VIJHL rookie of the year after scoring 28 goals and adding 29 assists in 46 games for the Comox Valley Glacier Kings. In the playoffs the powerful forward recorded 3 assists in 4 games. The 6?3?, 190 lbs left-winger played in 1 game this season for the Bulldogs and recorded 1 goal and 1 assist. Jackson is also a dedicated student, recording a 3.25 GPA this past year.
?We are excited about the commitment of Jackson to play for us next season. He played very well when we brought him up last season. Jackson brings size to our lineup and will be a solid presence up front for us. We are committed to building on the nucleolus of players we have coming back next season, and Jackson fits into the winning tradition we are establishing.?
