Former Alberni Valley Bulldogs Captain Devin Timberlake (Port Alberni, B.C) made his professional debut on March 28th with the AHL?s Providence Bruins.
The 6'2″, 190 pound right winger and two-time captain (2005 & 2006) of the Bulldogs scored two goals in his first two games for the Providence Bruins. The Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League (AHL) are the affiliate team of the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League (NHL).
Timberlake, 24, recently finished his senior season with the Brown University Bears (NCAA) where he appeared in all 37 of the team's games with a career-best 20 assists and 25 points. Over his four seasons at Brown from 2006-10, the Port Alberni, British Columbia, native suited up for 110 games with 61 points (19g, 42a) and 146 PIM.
