The Alberni Valley Bulldogs used a 3-goal 3rd period to rally past the Clippers 4-3 on Friday night at the Dawg Pound
Chase Klassen had a pair of goals in the win, his 8th & 9th of the season. He also extended his point streak to 8 consecutive games. Stephen Castagna (13th) & Finn Brown (3rd) also scored for the Bulldogs in the win.
The Bulldogs found themselves trailing 3-1 at 7:07 of the 3rd, but would tally markers at 9:04, 10:35, and 12:30 to seize control of the game.
Luke Pearson was sensational in goal for the Bulldogs as he made 46 saves for the victory.
The Bulldogs win pushed their point-streak to 9 consecutive game and improved their recored to 8-2-3-1 on the season. The Bulldogs are now 2 points behind the Grizzlies for the Island lead.
Tomorrow at 1:00 pm the Bulldogs will take on the Cowichan Capitals.
