The Alberni Valley Bulldogs are pleased to announce that Dawson Tritt (00) forward has committed to the Lake Superior State Lakers NCAA Division I Men’s Hockey Program for the 2021-2022 season.
Tritt, a native of Spokane, Washington has appeared in 119 regular season BCHL games, all with the Bulldogs. In his time in Port Alberni, Tritt has scored 35 goals and added 30 assists. He’s coming off a season where he scored 18 times and added 13 assists for the Bulldogs.
“Dawson has taken a big step this off-season,” said Bulldogs head coach & general manager Joe Martin. “The determination he plays with leads the way each night. Our whole staff is thrilled for Dawson and his family. We know he will really enjoy being a Laker.”
Tritt will join former Bulldog defenceman Mitch Oliver when he makes the jump next season.
Tritt and the Bulldogs take on the Victoria Grizzlies at 7:00 pm tonight in Victoria.
