The Alberni Valley Bulldogs (7-3-1) are heading to the mainland of British Columbia to pay a visit to the Penticton Vees (8-2-0) on Wednesday night.
This is the first of three road games over on the mainland. And neither team has seen each other since the 2019-20 season.
In those last two years, the Vees have been a powerhouse in the BCHL. In the 2019-20 season, the Vees finished second with a record of (44-12-2).
And in the 2020-21 pod season, the Vees finished as the top team of the BCHL with a record of (18-1-1).
It will be a tough match for the Bulldogs, but they are currently riding a four-game-winning steak. Which also includes three-straight shutout victories for goalie Hobie Hedquist. Who hasn’t given up a goal in over 190 minutes of action.
Puck drop will begin at 6:30 PM and if you’re unable to make it to the game. You can catch the action live over on BCHL TV. A link for the broadcast will be down below.
