Tung Placed on Injured Reserve, Bulldogs Acquire Arnold

The Alberni Valley Bulldogs have transferred goaltender Callum Tung to the Injured Reserve list.  Tung is in his rookie BCHL season with the Bulldogs after appearing in 29 games for the Port Alberni Bombers in the VIJHL last season.  Tung played in 5 games for the Bulldogs this season, posting a record of 2-1-0-1 in those 5 contests.

In a corresponding move, the Bulldogs have added 20-year old WHL veteran Campbell Arnold to their roster.

Arnold, a native of Nanaimo, appeared in 66 Western Hockey League games with the Spokane Chiefs and the Victoria Royals.  Arnold went 6-13-4 in 27 games with the Royals last season.  Arnold’s Jr A right’s belonged to the Penticton Vees who sent Arnold to the Bulldogs in exchange for future considerations.

The Bulldogs are back in action at home this Friday and Saturday as they host the Coquitlam Express and the Chilliwack Chiefs. The box office will be open Thursday from 1pm – 5pm or you can purchase tickets online by visiting www.albernivalleybulldogs.ca
